OCEBC welcomes Ms. Amy Dunn, Vice President, Senior Consultant, Health Compliance, Southern California with Segal in a discussion of Legislative Update.

Meet Our Speaker:

Ms. Dunn is a Vice President and Senior Consultant in the Health Compliance practice for Segal. She has more than 20 years of compliance consulting experience, navigating federal, state and local health and welfare laws and regulations, including the Affordable Care Act, HIPAA, COBRA, USERRA, wellness plans and IRC section 125 plans.

Prior to joining Segal, Ms. Dunn was Principal/Growth Leader in Buck’s Compliance Consulting practice for more than eight years. She worked with public sector, corporate and multiemployer clients in a wide range of industries. She prepared plan documents, assisted with responses to the IRS and HHS, and designed and conducted employee training on compliance topics. Earlier in her career, Ms. Dunn was a compliance consultant at Mercer.

Ms. Dunn earned a JD from Whittier Law School (Costa Mesa, CA). She holds a Masters in Health Administration and a BA in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University (Orange, CA).  Ms. Dunn previously was on the faculty of the University of Phoenix’s College of Health Professions, where she was named Faculty Member of the Year in 2019.

Ms. Dunn is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences, including the National Business Group on Health, the Western Pension & Benefits Conference, the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists and the SouthWest Benefit Association.
